Try Before You Buy Sublimation Printer Rental Scheme

HobbyPrint® has launched a simple Try Before You Buy sublimation printer rental scheme.

This is ideal if you would like to try sublimation printing before buying a printer, or if you have a one-off project in mind. For example, you may want to make a batch of personalised T-shirts, produce mugs for an exhibition, create craft gifts, or test whether sublimation printing is right for you.

With the HobbyPrint® rental scheme, you can rent a sublimation printer for a short period and then decide whether to return it or keep it.

How the Scheme Works

We supply the sublimation printer and charge the full printer value at the time of delivery.

For example, if the printer value is £80.00, this amount is paid upfront.

The monthly rental fee will be clearly advised before purchase. If the printer is returned after one month, the one-month rental fee will be deducted from the £80.00 payment and the balance will be refunded.

How It Works – (These are not acctual rental figures)

Deposit = £80, 1 Month Rental = £20.00, return amount = £60.00
Deposit = £80, 2 Month Rental = £32.00, return amount = £48.00
Deposit = £80, 3 Month Rental = £40.00, return amount = £40.00

Rental fees will be available for 1 month, 2 months and 3 months, with the final rental amount based on how long the printer has been kept.

Refunds are normally processed within 24 hours of receiving the returned printer, subject to inspection.

Consumables

Consumable packs are available to suit different customer needs.

A typical starter consumable pack may include 30ml sublimation ink bottles and 100 sheets of sublimation transfer paper. Consumables are charged at the time of purchase and are not refunded once used or opened.

This allows you to choose the ink and paper package that best suits your project.

Returning the Printer

When the printer is returned, it will be inspected for damage beyond normal use. As long as the printer is well packed for transport, we would not envisage major issues.

Normal use is expected. We understand that the printer is being rented to be used. Charges would only apply where there is damage beyond normal handling or reasonable use.

Want to Keep the Printer?

If you decide that sublimation printing is for you and would like to keep the printer, simply let us know.

We will confirm this by message and convert the original printer payment into a final sale invoice for the printer. No return is then required.
